Making Your Booking
Use our web site or brochure to select your first choice boat, (by its class name) and your preferred start date and location. Our Boatfinder page will help you.
Use our superb Online Availability Checker page or telephone +44 (0)1905 610660 to check the availability and book the boat of your choice.
You can also reserve the boat by Email, phone or fax. We will hold such reservations only for a few days whilst you send us your completed booking form and deposit (25% of the hire fee). If you do not have a copy of our brochure, you can print off a booking form from this site and fax it to us with your credit card details or you can use a special form on a secure server that allows you to pay on line.
On receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation which will show full details of your booking and the balance due.
Around ten weeks before your holiday starts, we will send you a reminder about the balance due, which should be paid at least 8 weeks before the start date.
On receipt of your final payment we will dispatch your Pre-Holiday Information Pack which includes directions to the Hire Base, a grocery order form and our own 'Cruising with Viking Afloat' Information booklet.
Damage Waiver Scheme
Please Note: A Damage Waiver Premium of £40is payable on every hire. This is a single non-refundable payment which covers you for any accidental damage or loss to the boat or its equipment whilst on hire to you.
Special exclusions to Damage Waiver:
Speeding (reported or witnessed).
Malicicious, negligent or intentional damage to the boat, its equipment, the waterway, other boats or structures.
Damage to the rudder, etc. due to cill damage in locks.
Late return of the boat.
Return of the boat in an unclean condition.
In the event of any of the above being reported, we shall claim the full cost of repairs, replacement or compensation.
